Privacy Policy

For conversion, your browser sends your presentation and Google access token directly to Google. No SlideRelay server receives either one.

Who operates SlideRelay

Yan Dobromyslov operates SlideRelay as an individual and is the controller for the processing described in this policy. SlideRelay is the name of the service, not a separate company. Contact the operator at [email protected].

What the website handles

When you choose a .pptx file, SlideRelay handles its file name and presentation content in this browser page. Your browser sends that file to Google's Drive conversion endpoint. Google returns the created file's ID, name, file type, and link so the page can show you the result.

Website delivery and support

Cloudflare delivers the website and may process ordinary connection data such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time to deliver and secure it. SlideRelay does not add advertising or analytics.

If you email support, the message can contain your email address, routing information, and anything you choose to write. Porkbun forwards support mail to a Google-hosted inbox. Do not email a private presentation. Support messages are kept while they are needed to answer the request or maintain a necessary security or operational record, then deleted when they are no longer needed.

Google account access

SlideRelay requests the drive.file scope to create the converted presentation in your Drive. It does not provide general access to every file in your Google Drive.

Google Identity Services returns a short-lived access token to this browser page. The token is held only in page memory long enough to authorize the upload session. SlideRelay does not send the token to a SlideRelay server, write it to browser storage, or include it in support messages.

Data collection and retention

The Repair & Verify material on this website is a development preview. The basic converter does not apply those repairs. If a later repair feature needs server processing, it will not be enabled until this policy explains the exact files, purpose, retention period, and deletion controls.

Purposes and legal bases

The browser processes the file and Google response to perform the conversion you request and provide the service under these terms. Ordinary hosting and security data is processed for the legitimate interest in delivering and protecting the website. Support information is processed to answer your request and maintain necessary security and operational records.

Google API Limited Use

SlideRelay follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, for data obtained through Google APIs.

Other services

Google processes the uploaded file under your Google account and Google's privacy policy. Cloudflare provides website delivery and security. Porkbun and Google handle the support-mail route. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under their applicable transfer arrangements. The basic workflow does not connect to Canva or any other presentation service; you provide the .pptx file yourself.

Your controls

You can revoke SlideRelay's Google access in your Google Account permissions and delete presentations from Drive at any time. Revoking access does not automatically delete files already created in your Drive.

Where EU data-protection law applies, you may ask the operator to access, correct, erase, restrict, or provide applicable personal data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to Portugal's Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados.

Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date before the changed data practice is enabled.
